you maybe right, I use pympd atm .... would have been nice to use banshee I do like it.

Banshee is simple to use clean to look at.. easy controls works with my ipod what else can I say

Ok in banshee I create a playlist is there any reason why I cannot play it through mpd ...? 

Now that could be a plugin

I'll write it (once I learn mono!)

rewriting libs. for mpd is a dumb they are already there .... playlist from banshee playing under mpd now that could work
