I started having this issue over the weekend,  I'm also running Mono /
Gtk# / Banshee from svn / cvs.  

1.1.18 also has issues compiling the Podcast plugin, in my despair I
googled feverishly this morning.  (see links below)

This is a pretty interesting bug,
