I ran into this a week or two ago.
What version of Banshee are you running? I was running CVS HEAD; I
filed a bug and Aaron committed a patch. Seems that some boxes have
some GDK modifier always present and it was throwing things off.
If you're using CVS HEAD, you should be fine if you update it...else,
you'll have to wait for the next release. If you're using CVS HEAD,
you update, and are still experience this...file a new bug :)
Cheers,
Patrick

This suddenly started happening, when I type in the search box it takes
those keys as hotkeys. IE: if I type 'n' it goes to next track, 't'
seeks. A bit annnoying when I'm just searching for some tunes :(
I've set the 'next track' key to disabled in my gnome key settings (via
the multimedia keys plugin) as well as disabling said plugin, with the
same results. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks.
