[Banshee-List] v0.10.8: import music chokes on accented chars

Hi all,

I had my first look at Banshee last week and I like the interface very much.

One hitch: on my laptop running Ubuntu, Banshee v0.9.7 imported a
small library of MP3s without problem. However, on my desktop box
running FC5, v0.10.8 keeps choking on certain files during import, and
I think it is files with accented characters. Just now I found that it
choked on a filename containing an "é" character. See this screenshot:

this point, CPU went to 100%, and it became unresponsive.

Speaking of importing, any thoughts on importing existing .m3u
playlists as well? I have a huge number.

In any case, Banshee looks really promising.
