[Banshee-List] Playback not starting

Hi Folks,

I've just installed Banshee 0.10.8 onto my Gentoo laptop and it imports all my music files - each one an ogg vorbis file - fine, but does not play them back. It sets the clock to 0.00, sits there and does nothing. My console output is below. Where do I start looking or it is obvious?

FWIW, XMMS and RhythmBox do playback without problem.

(Banshee:23522): GdkPixbuf-WARNING **: GdkPixbufLoader finalized without calling gdk_pixbuf_loader_close() - this is not allowed. You must explicitly end the data stream to the loader before dropping the last reference.
