If you're seeing FSmonitor starting up, it means that you did not uninstall your 0.10.x package. FSmonitor is not shipped with CVS anymore.

It's possible - that you just need to wipe out your banshee install and then re-install it. Do this:

remove the 0.10 package using apt (i dont know how, not an Ubuntu user)
rm -rf /usr/lib/banshee (wipe out any stray banshee files)
also wipe /usr/local/lib/banshee if it exists
go back to your cvs install and make install again

so,  jsut this morning built form cvs. the build went jsut fine and
everything seemed to be great. started banshee, saw the nice spash
screen, but then nothing. ran form the command line and got :

anyone have any ideas? file a bug? i tried searching around quick and
couldn't find much on "Could not grab key 160"....i'm on Ubuntu dapper
incase it maters...
