Yeah, I'd noticed this. Many people should be able to fix this in
their global SVN settings if they haven't already .

However, some proxies (i.e. my university's...) can't or won't support
the commands necessary to proxy SVN either. However, for those with
Mono SVN SSH access, it can be accessed over SSH. Just edit autogen.sh
so that it passes your mono svn username to update-checkout.sh.
