Nicolas,

It looks like you're running a _very_ old version of Banshee.  0.9.7  
is almost a year old if I recall correctly.  It'll also work only with  
gstreamer 0.8 and probably has not been tested with the latest  
releases of gstreamer 0.8.x.

I'd suggest installing gstreamer 0.10 as well as banshee 0.10.11.  You  
should be able to find packages for both!  gstreamer 0.10 should be  
installed by default on a recent version of suse, and you should be  
able to find a package of 0.10.11 (or maybe 0.10.10, which has been  
out much longer) easily on packman or somewhere.

Try the newer version of Banshee and then see how it works :)
