[Banshee-devel-list] [BCE] version and author info

Hi

I was sad to see, that with the, indeed pretty and functional, new look of organizing Banshee's Extensions, all information about the author/maintainer/origin, and more important about the installed version of a plugin has gone missing. Is there any reason this has been dopped? (I currently have 1.5.4 beta 3 installed due to laziness and waiting for the ubuntu ppa)

Furthermore, is there any news on distribution packages of Banshee Community Extensions? Who can make sure all Extensions are  in a stable state for a release?
