From the dump, it seems that GMime had a problem parsing your inbox.  Has  
Balsa accessed it OK since then?

Clearly, the mbox code should check for errors of this kind, and not just  
crash by passing a NULL string to strlen.  Git master has been fixed;  
could you check it out?
