Good...but I don't know why it would! Gtk_show_uri is a simple wrapper around g_app_info_launch_default_for_uri, and I don't see any relevant outstanding bugs. Perhaps your GIO setup isn't initialized the way Gtk expects :(
What are your Gtk and glib versions? Peter
