Hello,
Balsa team proudly announces balsa-2.3.6 release available at
http://balsa.gnome.org/
[ snip ]
http://spruce.sourceforge.net/gmime/ or directly at
http://spruce.sourceforge.net/gmime/sources/v2.1/gmime-2.1.14.tar.gz
Observe that upgrade to gmime-2.1.9 or newer is required to properly
use GPG-related features.
Major highlights of this balsa release wrt 2.3.5 are:
- improved support for splitting messages.
[ snip ]
With GMime prior to 2.1.17, splitting a signed message may result in a
reconstructed message with a broken signature, and splitting an
encrypted message may result in an undecipherable reconstructed
message. GMime-2.1.17 is available in the same place:
If you split a message with a tarball attached, you may find that some
gateway will mangle it (my ISP does!). Balsa attempts to handle two
known types of mangling, but gateways can be so creative--please report
any failures.
