No problem!  Getting some more discussion of existing problems  
helps keep us focused on them.

Disabling TREE_VIEW_FIXED_HEIGHT in src/balsa-index.c seems to  
fix it; gtk-2.6 (which I don't have) advertises a richer api for  
fixed height mode--perhaps it also has a better implementation.
