balsa 2.1.2 + solaris 8 + fcntl/flock

I'm trying to build balsa 2.1.2 under solaris 8, gnome 2.0, gcc.3.2.x.

When I try to compile I'm getting a bunch of errors in the libbalsa
directory for undeclared "mutt" functions... This is due to the
--enable-fcntl options due to solaris...  Is all the mutt code missing
from 2.1.2?  Has anyone successfully built balsa using flock under
solaris?
