I understood why no debugging information, it only makes sense to remove. Thanks for passing on the syntax to use a deb pkg with debugging. I figured I'd be building from a tarball to get there. I don't mind doing that build, but was worried the bug would dissappear because of subtle differences. In that case, the real problem would never be solved....
