Sure:
- View => Expand All (to expand all threads);
- Edit => Select All with keyboard focus in the message list (to select
  all messages);
- Message => Toggle => New (to mark all as *un*read);
- Message => Toggle => New again (to mark all as *read*);

But there's no shorter way, to my knowledge!
