Hmmm... (I assume you use libESMTP >= 0.8.3)

... it is possible that your SMTP server has an upper limit on the size
of messages it accepts but does not advertise this with the SIZE extension.
In this case the sender and recipient mailboxes verify OK, the message is
transferred to the server which then fails the DATA command.
