spell problems back in 1.2.1

I had installed all the latest pspella and aspell packages and got 
spelling to work in 1.2.  Now it doesn't work in 1.2.1 (built from the src 
rpm).

Here's what I've got.

rpm -qa | grep spell
pspell-devel-0.12.2-ximian.3
pspell-0.12.2-ximian.3
aspell-devel-0.33.7.1-ximian.2
aspell-0.33.7.1-ximian.2

The message is the old familiar one

	unable to load the "aspell" module

Does spelling work for anyone else in 1.2.1?
