Spell check problems.

I recently upgraded to RedHat-7.1 and now spell checking in balsa
no longer works.  The only thing I get is a "Balsa Information"
window that says: Unable to load the "aspell" module.

Any suggestions about what the problem might be or how I could
debug it?  I do have the spell rpms installed and balsa is linked
to them:

$ rpm -qa | grep spell
aspell-en-gb-0.32.6-2
pspell-devel-0.11.2-2
pspell-0.11.2-2
aspell-devel-0.32.6-2
aspell-0.32.6-2
aspell-en-ca-0.32.6-2

$ ldd ./balsa | grep spell
        libpspell.so.2 => /usr/lib/libpspell.so.2 (0x40033000)
        libpspell-modules.so.1 => /usr/lib/libpspell-modules.so.1 (0x4085b000)
