Hmmm, are you running Ximian Gnome 1.4? I have 1.2 running on a LinuxPPC
box, and the standard cursor in the gtk_text widget is the arrow. However, I
installed 1.4 during my observing run on my PowerBook, and now I understand
what you mean (I see the same "unbehave", among other thing I don't like, e.g.
the buttons in the file selection dialog). It looks as if they changed
something the the gtk stuff. We could try to extract the current cursor
settzing from the widget, but I must admit that I do not know how (`grep
GdkCursor /usr/include/gtk/*' gives no result). Or how do I get the
GdkWindowAttr from a window?
Albrecht.
