OK, as always my advice is build the example program that comes with
libESMTP and try sending the test mail in the same directory with it.
Using the --monitor option will trace the SMTP session with the server
on stderr.  If there is a problem communicating with the server
it will show up there.

As before if you are using a version of libESMTP earlier than 0.8.3 you
are on your own because you are likely to experience problems.
