* have key binding sets for mutt,pine,whatever you can select on preferences

easy ? abuse .gnome/accels ?

* make the mailbox tree a detachable pull down (save space)

detachable sounds easy. pulldown ?

* make n/p/ctrl-n work on the message window (no idea how to do it)

this would be mondo great

* possibility of making button bar go away

easy ?

* toggle show of each column of message list

grunt work

* MDI possibility (i really don't like this) - ie. work like a ncurses mailer,
 have everything on the main window, one at a time
