I never used memprof for that, usually, efence, dmalloc or yamd would
do for me. Also note that some libcs have their own memory allocator
debugging, like GNU glibc 2.1.x/2.2.x (not sure about 2.0.x) or FreeBSD
4.x (not sure about older versions).
Is there something special about memprof that makes a 0.x.y version
worth recommending with so many "stable" memory checkers?
