X-Mailer: bug-buddy 1.0

Package: balsa
Severity: critical
Version: 1.1.3
Synopsis: Segfault of Balsa when starting
Class: sw-bug

System: Linux 2.4.0-4GB i686 unknown
C library: glibc-2.2-7
C compiler: 2.95.2
glib: 1.2.8
GTK+: 1.2.8
ORBit: ORBit 0.5.7
gnome-libs: gnome-libs 1.2.13
libxml: 1.8.10
gnome-print: gnome-print-0.25
gnome-core: gnome-core 1.2.3

Description:
I have run balsa-1.1.2 wuth glib-1.2.8 and gtk+-1.2.8. The I did an
upgrade to glib-1.2.10 and gtk+-1.2.9 and balsa-1.1.2 segfaulted upon
start. Then, I compiled balsa-1.1.3 without any problem, but the same:
segfault on start. I removed ~/.gnome/balsa, started balsa-1.1.3 and
entered some data. Upon pressing the finish button, balsa segfaulted.
But on starting balsa it started again. Entering some more own data
(e.g. second pop account) balsa still worked, but after closing a
restarting balsa seg-faulted. Then I changed back ti glib-1.2.8 and
gtk+-1.2.8, but still the segfault upon starting. Balsa-1.1.3 runs
without any problem on my notebook with glib-1.2.8 and gtk+-1.2.8
