POP3 fetch gauge

Hi,

in 0.9.4 the POP3 fetch function is extremly fast and reliable.
It never hung till now and I didn't have any problems with it.

But it don't know whether this is only a, well it is not a real problem,
bug I got, but the gauge seems not to work at all when I retrieve
the messages from the POP3 Server.

It shows the right texts, like "Message ... 12 of 14 ..." but the gauge
(or how is it called in gnome ?? ) doesn't show a reaction at all.
