This is a option that is compiled in when you configure the package with --enable-all I dont think it is done in the RPM version.
I was wondering if there are any plans to merge these options so that they are enabled by default now? I only ask because I havent seen any options moved from the "unstable" portion to the main branch. Doesnt mean it hasnt happened, I just havent seen it discussed on this list. On a seperate, but similar note, why doesnt --enable-all actually enable all? I end up with a long configure line : ./configure --enable-threads --enable-all --enable-gtkhtml --disable-system-install
I probably assume it is just from balsa's growth, and keeping some backwards compatability.
