Re: message list ordering



Having thought about it a little more, I agree on both points (i.e. doing
it properly, and not messing with it now) .  For some reason I'd concluded
that it didn't maintaining the sort order separately by folder *within* a
session, but I see that it does. You'd want to save and restore that same
level of detail.

I don't think it's really necessary to provide a way to set the default
sorting method, though; there's nothing wrong with the current approach of
using the header buttons to choose sorting per folder, except that those
settings don't get saved.
