CVS commit warning

Longer testing shows that CVS version balsa is not stable after last
patch, we are trying now to find the reason and consider backing out
the changes so please don't commit anything within next couple of hours,
if possible. I will come back soon with more information.
The stable version can be obtained by cvs update -D "6/5/2000 0:00:07 EST"
