I tracked down the RFCs for SMTP and stepped through my connection with my
server and I found the source of the problem I've been having with the
SMTP stuff.  Hector's going to be away for a week, but I'll go ahead and
put in a fix for this.

I'll also go through and see what I can do about the error handling so
that this is fixed by any release.

I think we're pretty much there.  I'm excited to check out the new init
stuff, but haven't yet.

BTW - I keep thinking about word wrap for the message display but haven't
done it.  I'll glance at it on Sunday morning and see what I come up.
Composition will have to stay as it is, but I'm still interested in doing
something with alternate editors.

Incidentally, Mike has code in to display progress in the status bar if
the dialog isn't present, and he's working on a progress bar for the
dialog.
