Hi! Sammy and Kat, 

I think it would not be a good idea to organise GNOME.Asia 2019 at the same venue as in 2016.

 And I would not be able to manage remotely at this point of time in India because of  

other commitments.

Ahmad Haris know that we call for hosts, as I know he should be busy, and I guess hosting GNOME Asia Summit in his city is not in his planning this year.

At GNOME Asia committee, I talked with few of us, and I understand that GNOME Asia Summit is a heavy task, so I guess that it is unlikely to go to some cities again which they just hosted it in last 3 years.

On another email, Anish mentions that he tried to contact with few universities in Australia but no response yet. I just got his IM contact from him, I will contact him to see what can I help him, and also draw a line for other options. For an example, I can consider hosting a small one in Hong Kong target 100 participants.
