Re: GNOME.Asia confirmation

Hi all,

I'm aware that we're approaching the announcement for the next
GNOME.Asia location. We really need to get the accounts sorted before
this.

Could I have an update please?

Hi, Neil

All the sponsors and fees, expenses are got. I am writing the report
with my teammates, Chinese Lunar New Year holidays had free us from
work some days, maybe it will be done in a week to you.

I had heard the Debian Conf 2018 from COSCUP 2017, seems that the
date is very close to our GNOME.Asia Summit 2018, looking forward
to
them.

😄

Hi there,

Is there any update on the finances please?

Also, it may be worth noting that the 19th Debian Conference will
be
held in Hsinchu, Taiwan, from July 29 to August 5, 2018. If the
dates
work, then doing something at the start or end of that may enable
people to attend both with just one flight to Taiwan :)

For the next year event, now Taipei is a candidate. And
we

prepare
release the CFH first, we will discuss it in next

GNOME.Aisa
IRC
meeting.
If you are interest, welcome to join our meeting in next

Thanks!

Firstly, thank you very much for a great GNOME.Asia,
I

hope
that
you've
had chance to recover!

The board is interested to know where things are with

the
accounts
from
this year's GNOME.Asia. At some point we should make

sure
that
any
remaining funds are transferred on to the appropriate

place. It
would
also be good to have a copy of your accounts, for our

own
records.

Finally, do you have any ideas about next year's
event,

with
dates/locations etc?

Thanks,
Neil
