In reference to this conversation, and the proposal by John and friends, I think we should reserve a day or two for Workshops and BOFs.
I also suggest we can arrange for tickets for some entertainment/cultural events popular in Hong Kong in the evenings (after heavy presentations) if any happens to be coinciding with the dates.
If we get any custom sponsor sponsoring for some party, we can fit it in the schedule as it comes.
Can we be open to non-gnome or non-desktop related presentations from IT/scientific/robotic departments enthusiastic about open-source or who want to attract the desktop-developers' attention (which will mostly also want to be sponsors)?
Cheers,

Dear Haggen,
Keeping this conversation in mind, I was thinking if we could have our program schedule displayed on the event website.

Dear Aleksander,
Your have got some cool core topics to discuss which I am sure will attract a lot of developers.
Thanks for your interest and since your dates are also flexible we'll try best to fit in these into schedule.

I was just thinking a 1h/2h BoF about ModemManager (both users and
developers welcome) could fit well, I could handle this on
Saturday/Sunday/Monday/Tuesday.
If anyone interested, I could also handle a BoF about Tracker.
