As Fred said, twitter and facebook is blocked in China. Last year, we had a twitter account, but no facebook account for GNOME.Asia Summit. 

But I do think it is a good idea to promote this summit. So go ahead and create them for Vietnam Summit 2009.

Does Gnome Asia have a Twitter, Identica and/or Facebook accounts?  This will be a great resource to spread the word among the Viet developers here.  Facebook and Twitter are very popular local social networks.  An Nguyen should know which one.
