Hi, all

It will be very nice if we could sponsor Muhammad Takdir.

And he will make a presentation about "BlankOn Minimalis" Linux
distribution derived from Ubuntu.

Thanks,

Richard

Hi all,

Currently I have got several request from speakers who need financial
assistant to summit. I think we can generate a list of proposed people for
us to consider provide additional money for their travel. We can priority
this list by why they need funding, how much each would cost.
We have already fund Will Walker's air travel, so we don't have too much
extra budget on the sponsorship(about $1600 from our current budget. If we
got more sponsorship, we will have more funding). So we can think about
partly sponsor some speakers based the priorities.

The request I have received:
-Andy Fitzsimon (Based in HK)

Andy is an Australian designer living in Hong Kong specializing in
graphic internationalization. He has been part of multimedia industry
for 10 years and currently is a developer for open source creative
projects like Inkscape and the open clipart library.
Andy is coming to GNOME.ASIA to share his passion for the GNOME
technologies that enable creativity without borders.

-Mohammad Anwari (Based in Finland)

-Kimmo Hamalaninen (Based in Finland)

"I've been working with the Maemo software (previously known as Open Source
Software Operations, or OSSO) in Nokia for five years, i.e. since the
beginning of Nokia internet tablets."

-Alfred Peng (Based in Singapore)

One of our committee member of GNOME.Asia Summit.

If you have other candidates in your mind, please add it to our list and
explain why and how much we will sponsor them.

Let's do it quick, because apply for visa to China takes time.

Thanks,
Emily
