2. Change the date from 17 ~ 18 October to 18 ~ 19 October.
The reason to change one day later is because the venue in BUAA is only available on 18 ~ 19 October. 17th has been reserved for another conference.
We have announced the new date on www.gnome.asia website as well as on www.gnome.org. One day's change seems no effect to everyone since no one book ticket and hotel so far.

3. Negotiate with hotels around BUAA
We are negotiate with several hotels to get a discount for GNOME.Asia Summit participants. Currently, four hotels gave us a reasonable prices. We will announce detail information about hotels on website later.

4. Sponsors
- We are contacting with Motorola now, they are interested in sponsoring dinner and party. We will send more detail proposals about dinner, party and booth to Motorola.
- For Canonical and Access, I have pinged them several times but no response.
- For Red Hat's sponsorship level, I am contacting with them to discusee the sposnorship package for Red Hat.

5. Localization of www.gnome.asia
We have set up a local translation team for www.gnome.asia, to translate from English to Chinese for website. Thanks for Pockey's great work and organization.

6. Two public mail lists
We have got two public mail lists for GNOME.Asia Summit. Thanks for everyone's help on this.
asia-summit-list gnome org                                        Committee list of GNOME.Asia Summit organization
asia-summit-participants-list gnome org                     Mail list for all the participants to GNOME.Asia Summit
