Yes, I think.

Unlike other IDE, Anjuta uses directly the build files, so it is not 
mandatory for the project itself. This file contains Anjuta's settings 
but they can be shared and would be useful to other developers using 
Anjuta. You will be able to open the project in Anjuta without having to 
select which build system you use.
