latest version of anjuta-3.11.90 in Ubuntu 12.04 (32 bit). Previously I had briefly installed anjuta (3.4) from Ubuntu Software Centre but I removed that older version when I read this forum.. I found this ... https://launchpad.net/~inizan-yannick/+archive/development ppa:inizan-yannick/development I have added this to /etc/apt/sources/list deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/inizan-yannick/development/ubuntu precise main deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/inizan-yannick/development/ubuntu precise main and I ran ... sudo add-apt-repository ppa:inizan-yannick/development but I can't install Anjuta package into Ubuntu 12.04 32bit after the above and sudo apt-get update What is the exact <package name> to use in sudo apt-get install <package-name> I don't think I should use sudo apt-get install anjuta since that will likely install (3.4) from the Ubuntu repo. ... My other attempt to install Anjuta from archive .. ./configure .. led to this list of dependencies ... http://paste.ubuntu.com/7075128/ so I'm hoping that this one stop deb installation package is the solution to get underway.
