Hi!

The error message look like the libgdl version you use wasn't compiled
with the same libxml version that is installed on your system.

What you can try is to remove libxml from /usr/local (libxml is so stable
that the version used by the system should be fine) and try again (make
clean && make). If that doesn't help you might try to compile libgdl and
then retry with anjuta.
