Hi Johannes,

I think, one important improvement to make it easier to use the 
autotools project format, is to add more documentation. I'm thinking 
about adding an help button in most dialogs. mallard seems to be 
designed for this and I would like to start writing this.

Could we start now or is better to wait ?
