Hi! Sorry, but it is very difficult to help here. In general, updating as many dependencies in an older distro can cause various unpredictable problem. It is probably easier when you setup a virtual machine (virtualbox for example) with a up-to-date distribution like Fedora and install from stock packages. When you want to install GNOME (or Anjuta) completly from scratch on CentOS, I would propose you use http://library.gnome.org/devel/jhbuild/unstable/ with the gnome-2-26 release set. It should get all the dependencies correctly.
