[Anjuta-list] compile error

The configure.ac file in my project contains the following lines:
PKG_CHECK_MODULES(glib, glib-2.0)
AC_SUBST(glib_CFLAGS)
AC_SUBST(glib_LIBS)
And yet, when I do #include <glib.h>, I get the error:
/home/sunil/cprojects/xxx/main.c:20:18: error: glib.h: No such file or
directory
Any pointers?
