[Anjuta-list] Anjuta 2.2.1 not loading, libanjuta.so.0 error

OS: CentOS 5.0 x86.

I downloaded and made install of Anjuta 2.2.1 and am getting the 
following error:

[john localhost ~]$ anjuta
anjuta: error while loading shared libraries: libanjuta.so.0: cannot 
open shared object file: No such file or directory

[john localhost ~]$


[root localhost download]# anjuta
anjuta: error while loading shared libraries: libanjuta.so.0: cannot 
open shared object file: No such file or directory

[root localhost download]#


However the file exists and its path is:

/usr/local/lib/libanjuta.so.0


Any ideas?
