Sorry that the answer took so long!

I assume you haven't installed glade3 correctly. Please try:

# pkg-config --modversion libgladeui-1.0

You should get the output 3.0.0!

If you have a different or no output it is possible that pkg-config
cannot find the correct file. Maybe you have to reinstall glade3 with
- --prefix=/usr.
