[Anjuta-list] Fwd: First try with Anjuta...Having problems adding a new file to a project.

Try to right-click in the left list where the other .c .h and pixmaps files are showed. In the pop-up menu, select "add file" and then source file.

Sory if this is not completely correct... I have not my Anjuta IDE just now...

I've just downloaded and installed Anjuta this afternoon. I must warn
everyone ahead of time that I am a Linux and C programming newbie. I
appreciate your patience with my question.

I can't seem to add a new c source or header file to an existing
Anjuta Project. I've tried to do this both throught the top-leve
"project" menu, and by using the right-click pop-up menu that is
linked to the project folder.

However, I can add a file throught the top-level "File" menu using the
"New" command. I don't think this associates the file with the project
though, because although I can edit the file, I don't see it as part
of the project's direcotry tree.

I'm running version 1.2.4 (a) of Anjuta on Debian Etch (Testing).

Please let me know if this is a mistake I am making, or if I need to
file a bug report. (I'm sure it is my mistake though...) :]

Thanks for the great GTK/C IDE on Linux. I look forward to working with it.

Scott Huey
