I have Anjuta in Spanish and the steps' translations are free:

Steps: 
New Proyect; (run the wizard)
Next;
  Proyect.- libglade 2.0
Next;
  Name.- Oneproyect
  Version.- 0.1
  Author.- I
  Objetive.- oneproyect
  Program in.- C
  Type.- executable
Next;
  Description: some letters
Next;
  GNU Copyright: Ok
  Gettex: Ok
  Generate font code using glade: Ok
Next;
Finish;

And then, the messages are:
  configure: creating config.status
  config.status: creating Makefile
  config.status: error: cannot find input file: Makefile.in
  Autogen finished .... failed 
other times: 
  config.status: error: cannot find input file: po/Makefile.in.in

And a messages box saying: "Exec autogen.sh manually"
