I'm running Anjuta 0.9.99 and am using Gtkmm2, I've not written anything in Gtk2 iteslf, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. I'm running a pretty bleeding edge system. The binary (Redhat RPM) install of Anjuta, and GCC 3.0.2 and the source installs of gtk+2, gtkmm2, et al.
