[Anjuta-list] asm file

I have imported a project for an embedded ppc project using a gcc 
cross-compiler (eabi-ppc) and can compile the .c and .cpp files but how 
do I get the .s (assembly) files assembled.  I think the gcc compiler 
should pass them to the assembler but can't get Anjuta to recognize the 
.s files as assembly language.  Can I add a settings:commands:selsect 
programming language for the assembler files?
