[Anjuta-list] Anjuta rpm on SuSE 7.3

Greetings !

I tried to run anjuta 0.1.9 from the rpm provided by the download
locator - installation of the rpm worked fine, but anjuta doesn't run:
The splash screen is shown and then anjuta ends with
anjuta: error while loading shared libraries: anjuta: undefined symbol:
__dynamic_cast_2

'ldd' shows that all shared libraries are found so I suspect a
"different version" thing or something similar...

I tried to compile anjuta myself and failed: 
mkdir .libs
libtool: link: cannot find the library `/usr/lib/libesd.la'
make[2]: *** [anjuta] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/mkorth/anjuta-0.1.9/src'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

I don't know why libtool is searching for a libesd.la (and, by the way:
What is a *.la file used for ?)...

Any hints ?
