[Anjuta-list] The road to 0.1.8 - latest CVS updates

I'm about to head off on business for a week, so I thought I
would give a quick update on how things are going with Anjuta
development.

We are looking to go for another release (aka 0.1.8) hopefully by
the end of the month. This continues the maintenance of the
Anjuta 1.x series while the core developers work on Anjuta 2.x
and the GNOME 2 platform port.

This morning I committed quite a few changes to CVS, including
the skeleton code for the plugin architecture that Luca has been
working on. There are no public plugins as yet, and also no
documentation, but you will find some information on the
development mailing list archives.
(NB Luca, if you want to provide some documentation, please post
it to me and I will try to update the manual).

You will also find new pixmaps; persistent find dialogs; fixed
multiple file loading; UI cleanups; new translations; debugger
updates; and lots of other minor and not-so-minor updates.

Due to the number of changes made lately, it would be great if as
many people as possible would try out the latest CVS version and
help us to knock it into shape ready for the stable release. In
particular, please really give some of the changes made in the
last month a good workout for us!
Unfortunately, we do have a lot of bug reports outstanding, but
we will try to address as many of the critical problems as
possible in the next couple of weeks.

Wishing everyone a very happy and peaceful week! :-)
