Re: [anjuta-devel] Debugging with Anjuta

Hello Igor,

https://duckduckgo.com/?q=GDB%3A+Failed+to+set+controlling+terminal

Anjuta ist not the only IDE giving this warning.

You can safely ignore it, debugging will work regardless.

For example to quote jacdavis https://github.com/Microsoft/vscode-cpptools/issues/264

The message "warning: GDB: Failed to set controlling terminal" is actually a long standing bug in gdb when
the debuggee's output is redirected to a tty and is harmless.

Hi,
I already tried to ask this but I guess it went through un-noticed.

Every time I am trying to debug from Anjuta I am getting following
message on the Terminal:
Debug Terminal for the process:
-------------------------------
&"warning: GDB: Failed to set controlling terminal: Operation not permitted\n"
How do I resolve this?

Thank you.
